I grew up in a village in Ifugao, Northern highlands region of the Philippines, wherein availability of technology is very low.
Hence, at a very young age I was so drawn into nature adventures as a part of my daily activities and some of them would be camping out in the wilderness, set traps for food, simply just to have fun and closely be with nature.
I was very fortunate to have such childhood exposure and experiences that made me appreciate the beauty of nature and believe of its healing powers. Those are the precious memories I hold dearly since leaving Philippines.
We moved to Toronto, Canada in 2003. But the busy city life isn’t really for me, so in 2014, I went out to explore the Canadian wilderness for 4 months, from British Columbia to Newfoundland. I’ve never felt more home and serene with nature whenever I’m out on my adventures.
My constant passion for nature and camping opened me to the possibilities that one day I could make people see and experience what I saw and experienced out there.
Borderland Glamping offers guests to comfortably reconnect with not only the real beauty of nature but most importantly with themselves and those who are around them.
